Sponsors of the 2025 Channel One TV/Citi FM “Back to Your Village” Food Festival commended the event for significantly enhancing their brand visibility and fostering direct engagement with the community.
Benjamin Dadzie, Corporate Affairs representative of Pan African Savings and Loans, highlighted the company’s support for Channel One TV.
“We have been doing it for the past three years; we acknowledge the fact that Channel One TV is doing great when it comes to things that have to do with Ghana. So we decided to sponsor by helping them come out well.”
He also mentioned a new product they recently launched aimed at empowering women.
“We recently launched a product called Mama. It has to do with women. We’re coming up with a loan product where women can come in groups to secure a loan facility at affordable interest rates. We have been getting new clients,” he stated.
Daniel Abugre, Communications Manager for Twellium Industries, expressed satisfaction with the festival’s impact.
He said, “The experience has been good. The patrons have been able to engage with us throughout this programme. So far, business is booming as we expected.”
He emphasized the importance of direct engagement, stating, “As Twellium Industries, we are producers of water and other beverages, and we are widely known by Ghanaians. For us, the engagement is very important, as the people are patronizing us alongside others.”
Regarding future participation, Abugre stated, “Coming on board next year, we will keep our fingers crossed. It is a food festival—every food went with Verna Water, whether it is Banku, Fufu, Rice, or any other dish.”
This marks Twellium Industries’ inaugural collaboration with Channel One TV and Citi FM.
“This is our first engagement with Channel One and Citi FM. This is our first time being on board. Being here and engaging with patrons is very exciting,” he remarked.
Rosemary Sackey of OCM, producers of Sankofa Natural Spices, shared her positive experience.
“I can say for a fact that it is very good. We have been able to sell so many cartons, so many samples given out, souvenirs and all. It is good visibility to us.”
She noted the festival’s wide reach, adding, “We’ve had people come all the way from Koforidua and the Northern Region to buy.”
Looking ahead, Rosemary Sackey expressed a strong commitment, stressing, “We will be on board till forever. Next year [2026], we are going to take the title sponsor. Those who didn’t come missed a lot. This is the number one fair you don’t have to miss.”
