Ken Thompson, former Chief Executive Officer of Dalex Finance, has praised President John Dramani Mahama’s administration for its promising start, highlighting key differences from the previous government.
Speaking on Face to Face on Channel One TV on Tuesday, Thompson expressed optimism about the direction the new government is taking.
“Technically, it’s a good start. I remember the last government appointing so many ministers we lost count, and there were all those SOEs,” Thompson remarked, reflecting on the challenges of the past administration.
He noted that Mahama’s government has set a more focused and streamlined tone, which he finds encouraging.
Thompson also commended the inclusion of young leaders in the administration, emphasising their potential to bring fresh perspectives and energy to governance.
“As far as this government is concerned, at least they have started on the right tone…I like the youth in government,” he added.
