Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has paid a visit to former Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr. Ernest Addison, following a raid on his residence by National Security operatives.
The incident, which occurred at Dr. Addison’s Roman Ridge home, has sparked widespread concern and condemnation.
Reports indicate that heavily armed operatives stormed the property, disabled the CCTV system, and conducted a thorough search, allegedly looking for hidden vaults.
Despite their efforts, no such vaults or large sums of money were found.
The operatives reportedly seized several vehicles and the CCTV control unit before leaving the premises.
Dr. Addison and his family are said to be deeply shaken by the incident, which has drawn criticism from various quarters.
