President John Dramani Mahama is fulfilling his promises in record time, with most commitments delivered under 120 days, according to Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga.
“This clearly is a budget of a government and a party that keeps its promises. Almost every promise that was made by John Dramani Mahama is being fulfilled in less than 120 days,” he said.
His remarks follow the presentation of the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy by Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson in Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Mahama Ayariga stated that the 2025 Budget effectively addresses the concerns of Ghanaians while ensuring economic stability.
According to Ayariga, the budget includes strong economic reforms aimed at growth and sustainability, reinforcing the government’s commitment to sound financial management.
“Mr Speaker, this is a budget that will stabilise the economy. This is a budget that gives hope to Ghanaians. This is a budget that will create jobs for the youth of this country because this is a budget that will stabilise the economy and provide an enabling environment for the private sector to thrive and create jobs for the youth of this country,” he said.
