The 2025 Heritage Caravan, organized by Channel One TV/Citi FM, is drawing to a close as participants [Caravanites] enjoy a thrilling boat ride at the Maaha Beach Village mini port in Azulewanu, Western Region, among other unforgettable experiences marking the end of their journey.
The boat ride was conducted in batches, allowing all participants to experience the scenic water adventure.
The group also visited the Maaha Beach Village at Bakanta, where they enjoyed a barbecue and participated in games sponsored by Pomo and Gino.
Earlier on Saturday, March 8, the participants, who are lodging at Maaha Beach Resort, embarked on a journey to the Ghana-Ivory Coast border, visiting Elubo and Noé.
The day’s activities were sponsored by GB Foods.
Later in the evening, the ‘Caravanites’ will enjoy a formal dinner and live band performance by the Nkyinkyim Band.
The Heritage Caravan is expected to conclude its journey and return to Accra on Sunday, March 9.

This year’s Caravan, which began on March 2, 2025, and runs till March 9, 2025, spans 14 of Ghana’s regions.
The journey, which started from the Greater Accra Region, includes stops in the Volta Region, Northern Region, and Ashanti Region, among others.
Each destination was carefully selected to highlight the unique culture, cuisine, and attractions of the area. From guided tours and cultural performances to culinary delights and engaging with local communities, the Caravan provides a comprehensive and immersive experience.
The Heritage Caravan is supported by a range of sponsors, including the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), Hollard Insurance, OmniBSIC, Appolonia City, Standard Water, Peeva Beverages, GB Foods, and GOIL PLC, with the Ghana Tourism Authority as a partner.
