Cabinet has approved the 2025 Budget, following a review ahead of its scheduled presentation to Parliament on March 11.
President John Mahama chaired the Cabinet meeting at the Jubilee House on Friday, March 7, convened to secure government-wide consensus on the budget and key policy proposals.
Minister of State in charge of Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, announced this during a press briefing following a special Cabinet meeting held on March 7.
Dr. Forson is set to present the final budget document to Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Meanwhile,, Energy and Green Transition Minister John Jinapor has highlighted challenges in the energy sector and mentioned that plans are underway to resolve them.
He hinted at the government’s plans to construct a second gas processing plant.
