Parliament has announced a re-composition of its committees, with notable changes in key leadership appointments.
Among the key appointments, Abena Osei-Asare has been named Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), a crucial body responsible for scrutinizing government expenditures and ensuring fiscal accountability.
She takes over from James Avedzi, the former Ketu North MP, who served in the role for an extended period.
In another major appointment, Bolgatanga Central MP Isaac Adongo has been designated as Chairman of the Finance Committee.
Renowned for his expertise in economic and fiscal affairs, Adongo will lead the committee in reviewing the national budget, tax policies, and other key financial matters.
Additionally, Kwaku Agyemang Kwarteng has also been appointed Chairman of the Budget Committee.
