During their visit to the Armed Forces Museum, participants, affectionately known as “Caravanites,” were transported back in time as they explored Ghana’s military history. The museum, located in the heart of Kumasi, houses a vast collection of historic artifacts, including weapons, uniforms, and documents that tell the stories of bravery and sacrifice by Ghanaian soldiers. The experience was both educational and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

Organised by Citi FM and Channel One TV, the event is a flagship initiative that promotes domestic tourism and encourages Ghanaians to explore their own country. Each year, the Caravan attracts a diverse group of participants, from young professionals to seasoned travelers, all eager to discover the hidden gems of Ghana.
This year’s Caravan, which began on March 2, 2025, and runs until March 9, 2025, covers 14 of Ghana’s regions. The journey started in the Greater Accra Region and includes stops in the Volta Region, Northern Region, Ashanti Region, and many more. Each stop is carefully planned to showcase the unique culture, food, and attractions of the region. From guided tours and cultural performances to culinary experiences and interactive sessions with local communities, the Caravan offers a comprehensive and immersive experience.
