Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has called on Ghanaians to uphold the principles that define the nation’s identity.

As Ghana marks its 68th Independence Day, the Minister emphasised the importance of reflecting on the nation’s journey and honouring the sacrifices made by those who fought for freedom.

He paid tribute to Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, whose visionary leadership and unwavering resolve were instrumental in shaping Ghana’s history and destiny.

He highlighted this year’s theme, “Reflect, Review, and Reset,” urging citizens to engage in deep introspection, assess their progress, and chart a renewed path towards prosperity.

The Minister encouraged Ghanaians to uphold the core principles of unity, resilience, and determination that have defined the nation’s identity. He called on everyone to work together to build a stronger, more inclusive Ghana where the dreams of all citizens can be realized.

“Today, we commemorate the hard-won freedom of our nation and pay tribute to the valiant individuals whose selfless dedication paved the way for our independence. Together, let us strive to build a stronger, more inclusive Ghana where the dreams of all Ghanaians can be realised,”  he said.
