Two people have sustained various degrees of injuries following an accident involving the Upper East Regional Minister, Donatus Atanga Akamugri’s convoy.
The minister was on his way to Bawku when the unfortunate incident occurred around Bazua in the Binduri District, on February 20, 2025.
According to eyewitnesses, a sheep crossed the Minister’s motorcade causing the rest of the vehicles in the convoy to hit one another.
Two people reportedly sustained injuries and have been admitted to the Glory Medical Centre at Bazua.
Donatus Atanga Akamugri is currently in Bawku to meet with the Bawku Naba.
