Mahama swears in 31-member Council of State

President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in the newly constituted 31-member Council of State, with former Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho, serving as the chairperson.

The swearing-in ceremony follows the successful election of Council of State members on February 11, 2025, with elections for representatives from the Ashanti and Upper East regions concluding on February 17.
