The Attorney General (AG) has filed a nolle prosequi, formally discontinuing the case against Democracy Hub protesters, among them Oliver Barker-Vormawor, Ama Governor, and several others.

The protesters were arrested and charged following a demonstration but were later granted bail, except for Barker-Vormawor, who was initially denied bail due to pending treason felony charges from a prior case.

The legal proceedings had ignited widespread public debate, with many calling for the release of the protesters and questioning the charges brought against them.

The AG’s decision to drop the case now allows all accused individuals to walk free, bringing the matter to a close.
