Prince A. A. Sadat, President and Country Director of Future Leaders Model United Nations, Ghana (Future Leaders MUN-Ghana), made a significant impact at the 2025 United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Partnership Forum in New York, advocating for climate resilience and youth empowerment on the global stage.

The ECOSOC Forum, themed “Advancing Sustainable, Inclusive, Science- and Evidence-Based Solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” brought together policymakers, civil society organisations, and global leaders to discuss innovative solutions to pressing global challenges.

Prince Sadat used this platform to emphasise the critical role of youth in shaping climate policies, fostering environmental resilience, and driving socio-economic progress.

During his address, Prince Sadat highlighted FLMUN-Ghana’s pivotal programmes, including Tree Planting Campaigns, Clean Energy Initiatives, Waste Management Advocacy, Diplomatic Engagements, Social Impact Projects, and Leadership Development Programmes.

He underscored the importance of policy alignment and multi-sector partnerships in strengthening grassroots initiatives and bridging gaps between local action and international frameworks. His advocacy resonated with SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, reinforcing the significance of global cooperation in tackling climate challenges.
