President John Dramani Mahama has approved key appointments to the Office of the Vice President, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been appointed as Policy Adviser, Political to the Vice President.
Additionally, former Health Minister Alex Segbefia will serve as Chief of Staff to the Vice President.
A statement issued on January 28 by the Acting Presidential Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, highlighted that the appointees are expected to bring their extensive experience and expertise to their roles, contributing significantly to the government’s “Resetting Ghana Agenda.”
The appointments made to the office of the Vice President include:
