A truck accident on the overhead stretch linking Achimota to Tesano in Accra has led to significant traffic delays.
The accident which took place earlier on Saturday, caused the truck to overturn, reducing the area to a single lane for other vehicles.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries or casualties, and the truck driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was unharmed.
Eyewitnesses mentioned that the truck driver had to take sudden evasive action when another vehicle unexpectedly crossed his path. This manoeuvre caused the truck to lose control and eventually crash.
Details about the other vehicle remain unknown, as it reportedly fled the scene following the accident.
