The Presidency has announced that President John Dramani Mahama will commence a nationwide Thank You Tour on Friday, January 24 starting with the Volta Region.
This initiative comes as part of President Mahama’s efforts to express his gratitude to Ghanaians for their overwhelming support and trust during the 2024 elections.
The Volta Region event will feature a grand durbar of chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, labour union representatives, and key figures from the informal sector.
The tour aims to strengthen the bond between the President and the people while celebrating their vital contributions to the development of Ghana.
A statement from the Presidency and signed by the President’s Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, also called on all Ghanaians to unite in pride and celebration during the tour.
The January 22 statement futher encouraged to join in recognising and honouring the invaluable trust and support that have propelled the nation forward.
