Manchester United’s star forward Amad Diallo has signed a new long-term contract with the club, committing his future to Old Trafford until 30 June 2030.

The Ivory Coast international has enjoyed a prolific burst of form since Ruben Amorim arrived, thriving in a wing-back role and as part of a front three. Amad scored his sixth goal of the season to secure a 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

The 22-year-old deal had been due to expire at the end of the season – although the club always had to option to trigger a year-long extension – and he was reportedly the subject of interest from two other clubs.

“I am proud to have signed this new contract,” Amad told United’s official website after putting pen to paper. “I have had some incredible moments with this club already, but there is so much more to come. I have huge ambitions in the game and I want to achieve history at Manchester United.
