Ato Forson, Ayine, John Jinapor named in Mahama’s first batch of appointees

President John Dramani Mahama has announced the first batch of ministerial nominees.

A press statement issued on Thursday, January 09, 2025, indicates that the president has submitted the names of the nominees to the Speaker of Parliament in accordance with Article 78 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.

The lineup is as follows;

1. Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson – Minister for Finance Designate
2. Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor – Minister for Energy Designate
3. Hon. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine – Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Designate

The statement also highlighted the various qualifications of the nominees emphasising their competence for the job.
