Firefighters have successfully brought under control a fire that ravaged parts of the Kantamanto market in the early hours of Thursday.
Thirteen fire tenders were deployed in the Greater Accra Region to combat the blaze, which began around 1:00 a.m. The fire caused extensive damage, destroying numerous shops and leaving significant losses in its wake.
Firefighters worked tirelessly to contain the inferno and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the market. Authorities are currently assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
