The National Council of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has finalized and confirmed its leadership structure for the 9th Parliament. This announcement sets the stage for the party’s strategy in the legislature as they prepare to steer parliamentary affairs.

In the newly announced lineup:

  • Alex Afenyo-Markin has been confirmed as the Minority Leader.
  • Patricia Apiagyei will serve as the Deputy Minority Leader.
  • Frank Annoh-Dompreh takes the position of Chief Whip.
  • Habib Iddrisu will assume the role of First Deputy Minority Whip.
  • Jerry Ahmed Shaib as Second Deputy Minority Whip.

Following this confirmation, the party is scheduled to hold a meeting with its Members of Parliament-elect to brief them on their roles and responsibilities in the upcoming parliamentary session.
