The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has marked its 43rd anniversary of the 31st December Revolution with a ceremony at the Nungua Town Park.
The party’s National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah lit the perpetual flame symbolising the party’s enduring commitment to its core values and tradition.
Member of Parliament (MP) for Klottey Korley, Dr Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings, joined Nketiah in igniting the perpetual torch.
The 31st December Revolution is celebrated every year to remind NDC members of the ideals upon which the 4th Republic was established- probity, accountability, freedom, and justice.
In attendance were top party officials, traditional leaders, and supporters. The event featured a durbar, wreath-laying, lighting of the perpetual flame and other traditional activities.
The celebration honours the revolution’s legacy and reaffirms the NDC’s dedication to its founding principles.
