President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has officially presented to Parliament the 2025 mini-budget for the Judiciary and Judicial Service, Parliament and the Parliamentary Service, and the Ghana Audit Service, covering the first quarter of the year.

The Judiciary and Judicial Service are allocated an estimated GHC 276 million, the Audit Service GHC 217 million, and Parliament and the Parliamentary Service GHC 450 million for the period from January to March 2025.

This presentation precedes the Expenditure in Advance of Appropriation to be delivered by the Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam.

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, conveyed the President’s message to the House.

“Honourable members as stated earlier, until the budget is properly presented, the expenditures in Advance of Appropriation are formally presented to the house.

“This is just for your information and so when it is presented, we can then properly refer them to the appropriate committees for consideration and report to the house,” he stated.
