There is ongoing uncertainty at the Ghana National Police Training School in Tesano, Accra, regarding the recollation of the Nsawam-Adoagyiri election results.

Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are advocating for the continuation of the recollation process concerning the 82 pink sheets.

In contrast, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed strong opposition to this initiative.

A disagreement has arisen between businessman Alfred Woyome and OB Amoah, the Member of Parliament for Akwapim South.

The NPP has stated that they will remain at the center until the results are recollated and officially announced.

The Electoral Commission (EC) has instructed that the recollation of disputed results from other constituencies will also take place at the same location, with stringent security measures in place.

The NDC has issued a warning against any efforts by the EC to conduct the recollation of outstanding results in additional constituencies.

The NPP contends that should they acquiesce to the NDC’s perspective, they will return on December 13 with additional stipulations or requirements, emphasizing that the recollation process must persist.

The two political parties continue to face challenges in reaching an agreement regarding the recollation process.

Finally, the recollation of Nsawam-Adoagyiri results has been postponed to December 13, at 6:am.
