The leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a directive for its members and supporters to withdraw from the collation centres.
This decision follows reports of large gatherings by NDC supporters at the Electoral Commission (EC) collation centres across the country.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, December 10, the NDC expressed gratitude to its agents and supporters for their “unwavering vigilance and dedication” throughout the electoral process.
The party urged its members, who have been stationed at various collation centres, to return home and place their trust in the party’s leadership to ensure fairness in the post-election process.
“This is the time to trust the leadership and the technical staff of our great party to fully manage the rest of the process. Our party’s leadership, together with our team of experienced professionals, is fully prepared and equipped to ensure that every aspect of the collation and declaration process is handled diligently and transparently”, the presser stated.
