The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has strongly denied allegations of involvement in the ongoing vandalism of state properties by individuals believed to be supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in certain parts of the country.

The NDC had accused some NPP supporters of engaging in vandalism and looting, alleging that these actions were driven by frustration over claims that NPP candidates had hoarded state-procured items, such as food and fertilizers, intended for distribution as part of voter inducement strategies.

During a press conference on December 9, the National Youth Organizer for the NPP, Salam Mustapha, called on the police to take swift action to uphold the peace and stability of the country.

Salam Mustapha also condemned the recent attack on the office of the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, describing it as horrific
