The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has called on party members and leaders to prioritise delivering on their promises to the Ghanaians following the election victory of John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking at a jubilant victory celebration held in honour of the NDC’s electoral success, Asiedu Nketiah expressed gratitude to the electorate for their confidence in the party.
He, however, reminded supporters of the heavy responsibility that accompanies their renewed mandate, urging a swift transition from celebration to action.
“Ghanaians have given us this mandate to accomplish the task of reconstruction and so nobody should tell us the weight of responsibility that we have. We cannot afford to disappoint them.
“So, in the coming weeks, let us try to cut short our celebrations and begin planning seriously how to rescue our dear country,” he stated.
