The Electoral Commission (EC) has issued a caution regarding efforts by political party supporters to encircle the Commission’s National Collation Centre.
This warning comes in response to the assembly of supporters from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Commission’s Collation Centre in Accra.
Addressing journalists, on December 9, the Deputy Commissioner, Samuel Tettey cautioned, “There’s no need for supporters of the political parties to besiege the National Collation Centre.
“This is illegal and unwarranted. The Collation Centre should be visited by only people with accreditation all others can watch live the declaration of results on TV by 4:30 pm.”
