Andy Appiah-Kubi, Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, has called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to conduct a thorough evaluation of their actions and make necessary corrections.

This follows the party’s abysmal performance in the 2024 general elections. Appiah-Kubi is among key NPP MPs who have lost their seats in the 2024 elections and would therefore not serve in the ninth Parliament.

Speaking in an interview on Citi FM on Sunday, Appiah-Kubi emphasised the importance of reviewing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.

“You need to do evaluation, look at systems and applications, and see whether there is a need for change in the process or in the equipment. So, we have come to the end of one process.

“As a party, just like any other institution, we need to do a post-mortem of the process and see where we need to do a retrospection of strategy or policy or activity,” Appiah-Kubi stated.

He urged the party to reflect on their actions and conduct an audit to identify failure points and correct them.

“I expect the party to look back and see how we will do an audit of all the things that we have done and identify failure points and correct them,” he added.
