The Movement for Change has congratulated the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama.
This follows Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s concession of defeat to the NDC Presidential Candidate.
In a press statement released on Sunday, December 8, the Leader and founder of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen applauded Mahama for an ’emphatic victory’ in the 2024 general election.
He opined that Mahama has secured a clear victory although the Electoral Commission is yet to formally declare the results.
Mr Kyerematen urged all Ghanaians to accept the outcome of the elections as it is a collective decision of the citizenry. According to Alan, Ghana has won the elections.
“Let us all remember that there are no winners or losers in this election. It is Ghana that has emerged victorious, through the mercy and grace of our Living God”, he stated.
Ghanaians went to the polls on Saturday 7, to elect a president and members of parliament. Early results from the Electoral Commission and various media outlets indicated a strong lead for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, John Dramani Mahama, with significant gains in several swing constituencies and key strongholds of the NPP.
