I’m confident of winning – Bawumia declares after voting in Walewale

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed optimism about his chances of winning the 2024 general elections.

After casting his vote at Kperiga in Walewale, North East region, Bawumia shared his positive outlook on the electoral process and his campaign’s efforts.

“The process has been smooth; the lines I can see are very orderly, and we are expecting a very peaceful election.

“I am expecting all Ghanaians to get up and get to the polling stations, queue peacefully, and exercise their rights to vote,” Bawumia stated.

He emphasised the hard work and dedication of his campaign team in reaching out to the electorate.

“Yes, I must say by the grace of God, I am very hopeful of winning this election. I think that we have done a lot of work and put our message to the people.

“I think the message has been well received, and I believe that by the grace of God when the ballots are counted, the NPP, myself, and our parliamentary candidates will emerge victorious in this election,” he added.
