Two military officers clashed with the Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Obuasi East constituency during the elections on Saturday, December 7.
The confrontation, captured on video by Channel One News, reportedly began when the NDC official demanded that the officers vacate the polling station, threatening to involve the police if they refused.
The military officers declined to leave, insisting on their presence at the center.
The disagreement quickly escalated into a physical altercation involving the NDC official, the officers, and some civilians. The incident caused a temporary disruption of activities at the polling station.
