#GhanaPolls2024: I’m confident of victory – Mahama

John Dramani Mahama, presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has cast his vote in the 2024 general elections at a polling station in his hometown of Bole, located in the Savannah Region.

Upon arriving at the polling station, Mahama joined other voters to exercise his right to vote.

Speaking to the media afterwards, Mahama expressed optimism about the election outcome, stating that he is hopeful Ghanaians will elect him as the next president. He also praised the Electoral Commission for ensuring a smooth and efficient voting process.

“I have been voting in this constituency for a very long time and also because I was a member of parliament for this constituency. I am confident that we will win. I also have the confidence that we will win a majority in parliament as well,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, also voted in his hometown, Walewale, where he also expressed optimism that he will win the 2024 general election.
