John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on party members to embrace a higher standard of governance if they win the December 7 elections.

Addressing supporters at the party’s final rally in Accra on Thursday, Mahama underscored the importance of integrity and accountability in leadership, emphasizing that the NDC must chart a different course from the current administration.

Mahama urged the party to focus on ethical leadership and a strong commitment to the well-being of all Ghanaians.

His remarks served as both a rallying cry and a reminder of the values the NDC must embody to restore public trust and deliver on its promises.

“My comrades, Ghanaians will hold us to a higher standard than they have held the NPP. I want to remind you once again, that there is no use fighting for political power if we would come and commit the same atrocities they have inflicted on the people of Ghana these last 8 years.

“Ghanaians will put their trust in us, but we must prove ourselves worthy of that trust,” Mahama declared.
