Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has accused President Akufo-Addo of attempting to impose Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his successor to evade accountability.

Speaking at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) final rally in Accra on Thursday, December 5, Ablakwa underscored the need for Ghanaians to hold the current administration responsible for its governance and decisions.

“We (NDC) are the party of transformation, the party of development, the party that brings progress. That is who we are and that is what John Dramani Mahama is. This election is about accountability. Akufo-Addo is doing everything to impose his puppet and his poodle in Bawumia so that he will escape accountability, but he lies bad.

“Operation recover all loot is coming for them. They will pay for the state capture, they will pay for the dissipation of our state resources, and they will pay for the corruption. Everybody will pull out their monies from under their beds,” Ablakwa declared.
