The Bono Regional Research Officer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Osei Karikari has asserted that Ghanaians are confident in the policies and projects of the NPP signifying an assured win for the party.

Speaking on Channel One TV‘s Citiuation Room, he touted the infrastructure, education and agricultural policies implemented by the Akufo-Addo -led administration.

Karikari alleged that there is no guarantee that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) can curb inflation when voted into power adding that the NDC is only mounting pressure on the current government.

According to him, Ghanaians believe that the NPP is going to serve well when given the mandate since their interests align with the NPP’s policies.

“We have over 6,000,000 people in Ghana who voted for the NDC in the last election, and they can genuinely complain because they have been in opposition, and they will want to put pressure on the current government. There is no assurance that the NDC can come and reduce prices more or that the prices of goods will not go down below what we are currently experiencing. The most important thing is that other social intervention measures have been engaged in by this government.

“This government had engaged in massive road infrastructural projects across the country. We are doing a lot in the education sector, and it is so clear that comparatively Ghanaians are more convinced with the New Patriotic Party’s policies and projects. We are convinced here in the Bono Region that it is going to serve us well,” he stated.
