The Council of Elders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has praised John Dramani Mahama, describing him as a reassuring personality with a passion for what works in the broader national interest.
In a statement, the Council highlighted Mahama’s commitment to lifting every Ghanaian and his dedication to the nation’s development.
“John Mahama is a reassuring personality with a passion for what works in the broader national interest. With John, success means lifting every Ghanaian,” the Council stated.
The Council also commended the energy and passion exhibited by the party’s members, supporters, men, women, and youth throughout the campaign.
It acknowledged the overwhelming enthusiasm, personal initiatives, volunteerism, and spirit of sacrifice that have characterised the NDC’s 2024 campaign.
“We salute our party’s members, supporters, men, women, and youth. The energy and passion exhibited in the campaign have been very inspiring. Let us finish hard,” the Council added.
As the December 7 elections approach, the Council urged Ghanaians to get out early to vote for President John Dramani Mahama and their NDC Parliamentary candidates.
It emphasised the importance of mobilising for a high voter turnout and ensuring that every vote counts.
“Let us usher in a new Ghana. It is time to reset Ghana,” the Council added.
