Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso Central, Sheikh I.C Quaye has endorsed Henry Quartey for the Ayawaso Central parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
Quaye believes the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has not initiated any significant development projects in Ayawaso Central, making it unworthy of the electorate’s votes.
He asserted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has played a crucial role in enhancing the living conditions of the area.
“We have done a lot. NDC has not done anything in the Ayawaso Central constituency. Go there and you will find that we have done all the drains all over. When you go to Ayawaso Central, all that the constituency needs to be able to live good lives, we have provided.
“The mosques and churches, we had to build some of them. This makes it unique for us to win this election, Insha Allah.”
He also expressed optimism about the NPP securing majority seats in the upcoming elections, which he believes will bring an end to the current Parliamentary impasse.
“This time around, we are going to win the majority in parliament and that will bring an end to all this hullabaloo”, he stated.
