Faustina Elipklim Akurugu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Dome-Kwabenya, has made a passionate appeal to her constituents, urging them to vote for her and the party’s flagbearer, John Mahama, in the upcoming December elections.

Speaking to Channel One News at the special voting centre at Atomic Police Station in Accra on Monday, December 2, Akurugu emphasized her commitment to serving Ghanaians and driving significant change.

She drew a powerful parallel between her mission and the biblical story of Moses leading the Israelites to the Promised Land, portraying herself as a leader dedicated to guiding her constituents toward a better future.

Akurugu also highlighted the NDC’s strong track record and called on voters to support the party’s vision for a prosperous Ghana.

“Looking at the kind of work that we’ve done, I think that 52%, 55% is good to go…I am here to serve, I am here for the good people of Ghana. For 20 years we have been in the wilderness.

“This year I am bringing you out of the wilderness just as Moses brought the Israelites out of the wilderness. Please remember to vote for the umbrella. Vote for John Dramani Mahama and vote for Elipklim. Victory is certain,” she stated.
