The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged the chiefs and people of Guan in the Oti Region to trust the NPP to bring development to the district.
According to the (NPP) flagbearer, the party is interested in the progress of the area, evidenced by efforts at creating a new region and district.
“The NPP has you at heart, we created the Oti Region after so many years of cries. We have created the Guan Constituency. We have given birth to this baby, and we want to take care of this baby. Give us the opportunity, we have a major interest in Guan.
“We want to do the work we have started. We know it was because of development you wanted your region and district. We have given it to you so give us the chance to bring you the development.”
Dr Bawumia proceeded to hold a mini rally at the Guan constituency, comprising the traditional areas of Santrokofi, Likpe, Lolobi and Akpafu (SALL) on Friday, November 29.
