The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, has called on citizens to vote for the NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to see the country transition from a developing to a well-developed country.
Addressing the media in Sunyani, Baffoe emphasised that Ghanaians would never regret voting for the NPP citing Dr Bawumia’s integrity and track record as assurances.
“Dr Bawumia has shown us that he is ready to transform this country,” he stated.
According to Baffoe, the proposed social and economic policies of Dr Bawumia are realistic and unmatched. He urged voters to desist from getting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama back to the Jubilee House.
Baffoe alleged that the nation since 1996 has catered for and improved the well-being of John Mahama and his family.
“I think that Mr Mahama has benefited a lot from Ghanaians, and it is about time that we retire him”, he said.
He asserted that voting for the NDC in the elections would destroy the current government’s efforts and the solid foundation laid down towards reviving the country’s economy.
Baffoe urged voters to remain sensitive enough not to allow their minds to be influenced by the “propagandist strategies” being resorted to by the NDC and mistakenly vote for its flagbearer on December 7.
