President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed gratitude to road users who have endured intense traffic due to the construction of the Obetsebi Lamptey interchange.
The Obetsebi Lamptey interchange project Phase I commenced in February 2021 but stalled due to the government’s debt restructuring programme.
As a result, commuters endured the inconvenience of long hours in traffic.
Inaugurating the Interchange on November 29, the president commended residents and road users for their patience during the inauguration of the project
“The residents and commuters who endured the conveniences of the construction, with patience and understanding, I express my heartfelt thanks, your cooperation has been pivotal to the successful execution of this project. As we celebrate this achievement, I must emphasise that our infrastructure agenda extends beyond roads.”
