The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Keta Constituency says it’s targeting 95% of the votes to enable it to retain the parliamentary seat in the 2024 general elections.
According to the Keta MP, Kwame Dzidzorli Gakpe, the party is working hard to retain the seat and win the presidential elections.
In an interview with Channel One News, on November 26, Gakpe indicated that the Keta Constituency would receive massive infrastructure development because the NDC’s manifesto resonates with the needs of his constituents.
“We have targeted 95% of the votes, and Insha Allah we will deliver 95% of the votes. For us, we are working, and we are on the ground. We are not leaving no stone unturned, and we will make sure we deliver victory for the former president, incoming President John Dramani Mahama.”
Meanwhile, some, residents in Keta say the NPP government has performed abysmally in the constituency.
A resident indicated that “Per my own assessment, I can say on record that the NPP administration has performed abysmally. I say this because looking at the livelihood of the average Ghanaian, in the past four years as compared to the previous administration of the NDC, before the NPP took over, I can tell you for a fact that things are not the same.”
