Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Manifesto Committee, has expressed strong confidence in the party’s success in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
He believes that the NDC is on a path to victory as the election date approaches.
In an interview on Channel One TV‘s Face to Face with Umaru Sanda Amadu, the former Sports Minister underscored the importance of actively campaigning to secure votes rather than becoming complacent.
“As for elections, we are on course to massive, unprecedented victory. But again, from my experience, I will tell you that these are the most sensitive days in an election.
“We’re cruising, victory is beckoning at us. But this is where we need to intensify our efforts, in terms of campaign, in terms of all the activations, messaging has to be tighter, and in terms of preparing for the actual day of polls.
“This is where we are now, we’re beginning to make our closing arguments to the panel and also putting in place the necessary structures for what we will do on the day.”
