The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare, and the Police Management Board dedicated Sunday, November 24, to visiting churches to preach peace before, during, and after the December 7 elections.

He called on everyone to assist the police in enhancing security, law, and order to make the 2024 general election the most peaceful in the history of Ghana.

“…Now that we pray, we should allow ourselves as vessels that God will use to bring peace, security, law, and order during this election period and beyond… Continue to pray for us… Also make sure you don’t become a source of disturbances to this country…The people around you encourage them not to be used to cause disturbances,” he stated.
