Jefferson Sackey, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma Central, has emphasised the need for creating more private enterprises in the constituency.

Speaking in an interview o Citi FM‘s Eyewitness News on Thursday, Sackey highlighted the importance of empowering the youth with skills to foster entrepreneurship and job creation.

“In Ablekuma Central constituency, my strong conviction and belief is that we need to create more private enterprises in this constituency. To be able to create more private enterprises, it means that you need to empower the youth to be very skillful basically,” Sackey stated.

He stressed that even for those who are out of school, it is crucial to harness their talents and provide extensive skill training.

“So even when people are out of school, of course, everybody has his own talent. It is important that we bring a lot more of skill training to the people so that people are able to create jobs for themselves because it is through entrepreneurship that people are able to succeed in life,” he added.

Sackey also used the opportunity to assure the constituents that they would be heard if he becomes their Member of Parliament (MP).

He therefore urged them to vote for him and retain the NPP.
