The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has pledged to prioritise the construction of the Afram Plains roads despite the economic hardship the country finds itself in now.
Mahama expressed disappointment about the state of the Afram Plains road from Kwahu Tafo to Donkorkrom.
He therefore pledged to see to the speedy construction of the road to bring relief to residents, farmers traders and investors.
Mahama was speaking to party supporters on November 21, at Donkorkrom.
“If there is one road that I will construct in my next government despite the current economic hardship then it will surely be the Afram Plains road,” he stated.
