Sekondi’s National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate, Blay Nyamekye Armah, has declared himself the most dedicated politician the constituency has seen, even before securing a seat in Parliament.

Speaking on the Community Forum on Channel One TV, Armah asserted that his efforts in the Sekondi Constituency surpass those of all past and present Members of Parliament (MPs) and Parliamentary Candidates (PCs) in the area.

He emphasised his commitment to the Sekondi constituency, promising transformative leadership if elected.

“The issue is no MP or Parliamentary Candidate (PC) in Sekondi has invested so much as I have done before even contesting to be voted for. So, that is the assurance that I am giving to the people that actions speak louder than words and I am putting my action into play,” he stated

With the 2024 general elections on the horizon, the NDC candidate expressed optimism about securing a decisive victory.

Even though the Sekondi Constituency is considered one of the safe seats for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the NDC parliamentary candidate projected to garner 66% of the votes, a result he believes will reflect the trust and high expectations of Sekondi voters.

“I am expecting about 66% of the votes and I am expecting jubilant Sekondi voters who have high hopes and expectations for me and expecting that I deliver what Agyapa Mercer couldn’t do,” he stated.

A first-time contestant, Blay Nyamekye Armah, is in the parliamentary race for the Sekondi Seat with the Minister for Tourism and Creative Arts, Andrew Egyapa Mercer and the incumbent MP who is seeking his third term.
