The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has promised extensive infrastructural development nationwide should the NDC win the 2024 elections.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang made this pledge during a courtesy call on the Overlord of the Waala Traditional Council, Naa Seidu Pelpuo IV, at his palace in Wa, marking the start of her two-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region.

She criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for alleged discriminatory development practices and assured Ghanaians that an NDC government would equitably distribute national resources, ensuring no region is left behind.

“Unlike the NDC that takes care of everybody, our opponents don’t necessarily do so. They have already told us about people who don’t vote for them and for which they don’t pay attention to them.

“So what this means is that our PCs have suffered for eight years. It means that whatever they could have done has been denied them because you voted for the NDC. This will not stop any of them or any of us from voting for a government that brings intervention, such as the roads you have requested for everybody to benefit,” she stated.
