Afram Tuffour, Assemblyman for the Adoato Electoral Area in the Bantama Constituency, has praised Member of Parliament Francis Asenso-Boakye for addressing longstanding developmental challenges, particularly in road infrastructure.

Speaking on The Community Forum on Channel One TV on Tuesday, November 19, Mr Tuffour highlighted the substantial progress made in the constituency under the MP’s leadership over the past four years.

“The remarkable transformation we’ve witnessed in road infrastructure is a testament to the MP’s proactive and focused approach,” Mr. Tuffour said during the interview with host Hafiz Tajani. He noted that many challenges faced by the community have now been resolved, easing the lives of residents.

According to the Assemblyman, Asenso-Boakye’s consistent efforts have not only improved the constituency but also strengthened residents’ trust in him and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He added that this goodwill is likely to translate into increased support for the party in the December 7 elections.

“Currently, we don’t have any road issues here. We previously had road issues but our MP Francis Asenso-Boakye has solved all those issues. He solved all the issues when he was Minister for Works and Housing.

“Not only the roads, he has also constructed a school for us and we have had about 8 boreholes in the last three years. We don’t have any problems here in Adoato and things are going well and the people are willing to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because we get our share of the national cake whenever the NPP is in power.”

He further accused the NDC of neglecting the Bantama Constituency during its time in government, alleging that the party’s bias stemmed from the area’s status as an NPP stronghold.

“The National Democratic Congress (NDC) government did not construct even a single kilometre of road because they see Bantama as a stronghold of the NPP.”
