The Majority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has been honoured with the title of ‘Nkoso)hene’ (Development Chief) of Winneba by the Effutu Traditional Council.
The prestigious ‘Osahene’ title has also been conferred upon him in recognition of his contributions to the development of the community.
The installation ceremony, held in Winneba, saw traditional leaders, community members, and dignitaries gather to celebrate Afenyo-Markin’s achievements and his commitment to the progress of the Efutu constituency.
The Efutu Traditional Council praised his efforts in improving infrastructure, education, and healthcare in the area.
